The Koinonia Baptist Church (KBC), in partnership with Shalom Baptist Church (SBC), Lakepointe Church in Texas, and the Christian Missions Resource Foundation (CMRF), organised a five-day medical outreach to selected communities in Tamale in the Northern region of Ghana from March 9 to 16, 2024. This initiative was a demonstration of the ministry of mercy. It provided free medical care to those in need. At the same time, it shared the love of Christ. This was done in practical and meaningful ways.
Preparations for the outreach began with a Sunday worship service at KBC, where Pastor Jacob Kwame Opata delivered an inspiring sermon based on Matthew 28:18–20. He encouraged everyone to reach out to others with the Gospel, no matter where they are. Following the service, volunteers participated in a training session, after which departments held breakout meetings to strategise and plan for the mission.
