"So they went through the towns, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere." – Luke 9:6
Focus Higher International (FHI), Christian Missions Resource Foundation (CMRF), and CAPRO Missions partnered for a special three-day medical outreach in Wulensi. This outreach was part of FHI’s Go-North Missions. It celebrated 20 years of ministry. The focus was on addressing both physical and spiritual needs in neglected communities.
What Happened
The outreach took place in three communities: Gimam, Kpanyansi, and Ponayili. These areas have little access to healthcare and the Gospel. Local leaders shared that they had prayed for 13 years for a medical team to visit, making this mission an answer to their prayers.
A team of nine medical professionals provided:
Health checkups and treatment for common illnesses
Free medicines
Eye care, including free lenses
Education on how to prevent diseases
The team also shared the message of Christ, offering counselling and spiritual care to everyone who attended.
The Results
The outreach had a big impact:
Total reached: 618 people
New believers: 123 people, including 37 Muslims
Holy Spirit baptism: 21 people
Counseling sessions: 297 individuals
Despite challenges like heavy rain, the outreach ended well. People shared stories of healing and joy, thanking the team for their support.
Thank You
We want to thank everyone who helped—organizers, donors, and prayer partners. Your support made this possible. The local people were deeply touched, and lives were changed both physically and spiritually.
We encourage everyone to keep supporting missions like this. Together, we can bring help and hope to more neglected areas in need of both healthcare and the Gospel.
Thank you, and may God bless you!
