CMRF 2024 Medical Outreaches


The Christian Missions Resource Foundation (CMRF) has been at the forefront of providing holistic healthcare and spiritual care across various communities in Ghana in 2024. Through its partnerships with local churches and other organizations, CMRF successfully organized and executed multiple medical evangelistic outreach programs. These programs impacted thousands of lives. From prisons to remote villages, CMRF’s outreach programs touched the lives of individuals from diverse backgrounds. They offered not only essential medical services but also spiritual guidance and hope.

1. Tamale Prisons Missions (February 24, 2024)

One of the key highlights of 2024 was CMRF’s visit to the Tamale Central Prison. During the visit, food supplies were provided, and a comprehensive medical screening was conducted for the inmates. A total of 272 individuals benefitted from this outreach, including 222 male inmates, 10 female inmates, and 40 prison officers. This outreach focused on both the physical and spiritual well-being of the prisoners. They had the opportunity to receive health consultations and spiritual counselling.

2. KBC 2024 Medical Outreach

Organized by Koinonia Baptist Church (KBC) and its partners, including Shalom Baptist Church and Lakepointe Church, this week-long outreach served 1,884 individuals across five communities in the Tamale region. The outreach was marked by a combination of medical services and eye and dental care.

  • Daboya Lingbinsi: 263 beneficiaries, including 30 dental treatments and 58 eye care treatments.

  • Zugu in Tarikpa: 496 beneficiaries, with 35 dental treatments and 98 eye care treatments.

  • Yilikpani: 405 beneficiaries, with 7 dental treatments and 41 eye care treatments.

  • Gbanyamni: 392 beneficiaries, including 15 dental treatments and 72 eye care treatments.

  • Dungu: 328 beneficiaries, with 17 dental treatments and 78 eye care treatments.

3. Hohoe 2024 Medical Outreach

The outreach in Hohoe, organized in collaboration with Tesano Baptist Church, E3 Partners, and other key partners, reached 1,965 individuals across several communities. It provided a variety of services, including:

  • Dental Care: 132 treatments.

  • Eye Clinic: 1,238 beneficiaries received eyeglasses and eye drops.

  • Counselling: 1,576 individuals, with 253 accepting Christ.

  • Children’s Ministry: Over 1,500 children received salvation and essential health items.

4. St. Augustine’s Anglican Church Medical Outreach (September 14, 2024)

In partnership with Hon. Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, CMRF served over 600 residents of Nungua with vital healthcare services. The outreach included:

  • General Consultations: 510 individuals.

  • Dental Clinic: 74 treatments, including scaling, polishing, and extractions.

  • Eye Clinic: 113 treatments, providing spectacles and medications.

  • Counselling: 312 individuals, with 14 accepting Christ.

5. Wulensi Medical Outreach

In collaboration with Focus Higher International (FHI) and CAPRO Missions, CMRF conducted a three-day outreach in Wulensi, serving 618 individuals. The outreach focused on both healthcare and spiritual empowerment:

  • New Believers: 123, including 37 Muslims.

  • Holy Spirit Baptism: 21 participants.

  • Counselling: 297 individuals received spiritual guidance.

6. Nungua Lorry Park Medical Outreach (December 21, 2024)

On December 21st, CMRF, in partnership with Hon. Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, provided healthcare services to over 800 residents of the Nungua Lorry Park. Services included:

  • Eye Care: 107 individuals received treatment.

  • Dental Care: 53 individuals received dental services.

  • General Consultations: 600 individuals received consultations.

2024 CMRF Outreach Summary

The total impact of CMRF’s 2024 medical evangelistic outreaches is both remarkable and inspiring. Here are the aggregated statistics for all outreach programs conducted throughout the year:

  • Total Number of General Consultations: 5,849

  • Total Number of Dental Treatments: 363

  • Total Number of Eye Care Treatments: 1,805

  • Total Number of Counselling Sessions: 2,185

  • Number of Individuals Baptised in the Holy Spirit: 21

  • Other Beneficiaries (Including Children’s Ministry and Salvation): 1,623+
